Marabou Media is a freelancing content creation and web design service specifically geared towards SME and entrepreneurs. I specialise in working with female entrepreneurs in the learning, coaching and celebrant spheres.
As a freelancer with limited resources, I was in a situation where I had to take on all the social media, website, hosting and online learning platform functions, content and copy creation personally in my own business for the last 7 years. Smaller budgets demand greater creativity and resourcefulness and I really enjoy the challenge of maximising the funds available in a project and being able to make magic on a bootstrap! At the start of the Covid pandemic, I was approached by my network to offer these services to others and that is how Marabou Media came about. This is a boutique service, and the number of clients will be limited. I do not outsource work and everything receives my personal touch, which requires a focused approach and a sensible cut-off point for the amount of customers that I can accommodate at any time. My aim is to understand your goals, challenges and opportunities and create something memorable and valuable for your clients and mine! The goal is to help you deliver on your dreams, helping you turn ideas into concrete online products and services. I want to help you gain more traction and be more visible in a crowded marketplace and increasingly digital world. |

Why Marabou?
My philosophy and approach is that I want to care about your business as much as you do, I want to deliver services that bring more patrons to your business and content that creates joy. Hence a stork, delivering something precious to you.
I decided on the Marabou stork because it can survive in lush and arid conditions and is specifically found in Southern Africa (which is where I am based) and I am deeply connected with nature.
My surname is Martin, so I really liked the alliteration of the double M of Marabou Media!
